Second Look Books Brews - Lodi

Decided to stop in as the reviews were great and I was feeling the need for a coffee and baked goods. Ordered the french press and cinnamon roll from the friendly hostess. Browsed the bookcases as the coffee brewed. I was hoping for a deep and dark coffee flavor, but was not impressed by the beans. The cinnamon roll, encased in a plastic box, would have been great if it were fresh.

A shining star among coffee options in this village. Service was fast and the staff member was pleasant. Plenty of locally baked options are available in-store if you're looking for a sweet treat. Overall, it's a nice quiet place to read a book or get some work done.As an added bonus, the coffee shop opens to a local antique store so you can browse their inventory while you sip your coffee.

I knew the owners before the shop, and they are amazing people, super friendly and awesome!

Loved the coffee and enjoyed finding some cool used books.
