Farzi Cafe - London

We came to farzi for our jubilee dinner, it was also ramadan, so we quickly broke and the cooks tried to bring the food for the time to open our fast. we were also given some time and water before the food came. the food was really delicious and in portions were good. the best part of everything was the front of the house manager service, he went beyond and beyond to warm milk for our daughter and told us about his newly born twins.

Farzi was a little unexpected joy! we had the three-course play and it was delicious a nice way to start the evening. the curries were above all amazing, service-friendly and attentive (although they have taken empty teller away as we eat what was a bit strange), and a beautiful ambiente for the early evening. where we already remember to come back for our next theater visit!

Good food, great service, beautiful decor. on a Sunday, if your menu is limited, we also enjoyed all three courses. I must say the service was one of the better ones I have received lately. my friend celebrated a special performance, and when the personal found out, they got a free dessert that had written congratulations. I would go back there, maybe during the week to check the rest of the menu.

The food was good specially the lamb biryani and the butter chicken bao. The rawa prawns came cold to the table. The problem with the place is that you are paying for a high end Indian restaurant and there are literally two servers running around a very busy restaurant on a Saturday night. So although they were trying to do everything it is not humanly possible. We were sitting near the main door which as each person came in they would leave open and it was a cold cold night with the effect that we were freezing and had to keep getting up from our meal to close the door. Every time we closed it someone else would walk in and we would have to get up again so since there were two of us dining we took it in turns. Not really something one wants to do when eating. The servers were just far too busy serving to even notice. Good food but better service required.
