The coffee at this place is amazing! I always order an oat latte, either iced or hot, and it never disappoints. The drinks are absolutely delicious and if you have a loyalty card, you can get a free one after purchasing 8. They also offer a variety of pastries, some of which are vegan, although I have never tried them.
The coffee was not good, it was lukewarm and bitter. The owner was rude and the staff were unpleasant. I do not recommend this place at all. There are many other cafes nearby that are much nicer and have better vegan options.
One need look no further than their Twitter and Instagram accounts to see what type of mentality these folks have about their customers and about the world. Most recently they posted outside their shop a no fatties sign on their bench and then took photos of this and shared on social media (as if it was hilarious). They have also shared racist, sexist, and ableist meme images flagrantly. Finally, there is an image of Stalin hanging in their café. If this isn 't enough to worry you about their business, multiple times they have posted social media retweets about vegans effectively being annoying customers who they have no desire to cater to. If you are looking for the knowledge that you 're getting vegan food, I wouldn 't eat or drink anything here. Lastly, please be aware that they do not offer reuseable dishes in their cafés even to dine-in customers. All customers are given takeaway cups, regardless.
Nice interior and friendly staff but I'm not sure why this place is on Happy Cow as there are no savoury vegan options?
