Eddie's Market - Long Beach

I went in the other day they now have fresh food all day. Specialty coffee drinks, Breakfast burritos, sandwiches all made to order. I see they have Vegan, Gluten free, Keto options as well. Eddie's always has been a local goto convenience store but they just went next level adding a great food spot inside.

I'm disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. It seems there is a refusal to acknowledge any wrongdoing. No one was running in the store; we were simply laughing and walking towards the beer section, and you followed us. Your actions and behavior suggest a bias, and it's disheartening. It feels like my identity as a Black man affected your perception of us. I live nearby, and I would have preferred to leave this review on a positive note, but I can't ignore how we were treated. This experience is truly disheartening, not just for us, but potentially for others in the Black community as well.

I've tried this sandwich at various restaurants over the years, but the next time I'm in the mood for a Bahn Mi (which will likely be soon), I'm heading to Eddie’s Market. The sandwich was so impressive that I’m eager to see what else they have on the menu. On top of that, the staff is super friendly and creates a great atmosphere.

I absolutely love the staff at this place; they are all friendly and knowledgeable about the products. The addition of Kids on Pizza as the new in-store restaurant is fantastic (it shares ownership with Kids on Coffee, another great spot). The prices are reasonable, but the real standout is their selection. They offer all the popular national beers, and also have a diverse array of smaller labels, plus kombucha and ciders. In the back corner of the store, there's an impressive shelf filled with cane-sugar sodas, including some unique options I’ve never seen before. They also provide a range of household goods, an ATM, and an Amazon locker for drop-offs.

The staff at this restaurant are incredibly nice and respectful! They truly went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience. I ordered the Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich, and it was absolutely a 10/10! Adding some garlic aioli took it to the next level—so delicious! I will definitely be coming back! The Vegetarian Pizza also deserves a 10/10!
