King's Fish House - Long Beach

The Macadamia Halibut was fantastic, especially when paired with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese! The food was served hot and was well-prepared overall. Unfortunately, the service was a bit slow, but the manager made up for it by treating us to a round of drinks and checking in on us throughout the night. He mentioned they were short-staffed, which can happen sometimes.

This is a lovely restaurant with excellent fish and friendly staff—what more could I want? We dined here at the end of a long business trip, and the immediate feeling was one of being at home. I heard someone say, “What a cozy place!” and I completely agree.

The food here is incredible! I really enjoy this restaurant, although it can be quite expensive.

The clam chowder was fabulous and the panko shrimp were big, crunchy and tasty. The waitress was delightful. I wish they would bring back the rice pilaf. The fries were just ok.

We had lunch at King’s Fish House during a conference down the street. I had the tuna poke and a spicy tuna roll. Both were very flavorful and fresh. Our server was attentive and for the most part prompt. A nice restaurant worth visiting.
