The location is beautiful and the terrace is dog-friendly, providing a peaceful escape from the busy street noise. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the beer selection is impressive. One small suggestion would be to add a bit more salt to the food or provide salt shakers at the tables. Overall, a fantastic dining experience!
It was checked on a Sunday afternoon between typical busy lunch and dinner times. Since it is on the 7th, was a little concerned, it could be a challenge to find parking. It was happy to find that her little adjacent lot had 2 open places when I arrived. Walk through the open conceptual dining area, take a seat at the bar and penetrate the dining and drinks menus. Service was friendly and prompt. [Starter] Chips and Guac were on point, a beautiful mix of avocado, cilantro, red onion and citrus flavors in every bite. Texture more creamy than cloby made for easier chip shoes. (Al Pastor taco) That's what I ordered for a second. Excellent pairing of sweet and hearty taste. (Carne Asada taco) Super Yum too. The spice of the meat with the sauce was very well composed. Pomona Warehouse: Warehouses are my menu. While this was decently easy, probably it wouldn't order again and would take one of the selections below. Pizza Port Chronic Amber Ale: Much prefer it over the warehouse, and was like with mild ale taste a sweet touch applied on the finish. Modelo con sal y limón: What I would have ordered from the outset is a Mexican restaurant! If you're in micheladas, her presentation is strong here. Am I back? Sure, but with more people next time at the good food and drink.
We also had three different tacos: mushroom cheese, pastor, and shrimp. The mushroom cheese taco was especially delicious, with the cheese roasted and stacked on the tortilla. The pastor and shrimp tacos were also good, though I personally prefer the crispy style of shrimp tacos. For dessert, we tried the vegan churros which were served with hotchata and pineapple sauce. The service was excellent and the decor of the restaurant has a very hip Baja Vibes feel.
The food was amazing. Definitely a “quality over quantity” Taco Burrito Spot, but sacred hell was that every penny worth. Here are the Al Pastor Asada Tacos. Easily cheated that it used plastic straws for decoration on my wife's michelada was a plastic bag to serve the guacamole.
Great spot with good vibes and delicious food. The staff was kind and attentive. I would highly recommend the Baja quesadilla.
