Contribuisci feedbackI’ve visited many places in downtown Long Beach, but this one is my favorite. The coffee and food are fantastic, and the owners are wonderful people who support veterans and the community. While I was waiting for my food, I saw some homeless individuals leaving with fresh meals and big smiles on their faces. It’s heartwarming to see a place that helps others while serving delicious food and coffee. They take the time to talk to everyone, not just feeding their bodies but uplifting their spirits as well.
**Visit Date:** Monday, December 9, 2019 During our recent trip to Long Beach, we were on the lookout for a cozy spot to grab some coffee and a breakfast sandwich before hitting the road. That’s when we discovered the Long Beach Coffee and Tea Company. We ordered three sandwiches along with our coffee, and we were pleasantly surprised to learn that the owners cook the eggs to order, fresh and made by hand – there’s no microwave in sight! The sandwiches were enormous and packed with eggs, cheese, and turkey – though they offer a variety of meat and cheese options. Each sandwich was served on a large croissant and was exactly what we were craving, if not more. While our meals were being prepared, I took some time to read about the business posted on the walls, and I was truly impressed by their mission. They provide a "safe space" for LGBTQ and transgender individuals and promote inclusivity, welcoming everyone. The owners are military veterans who actively support veterans' and transgender rights. The café was beautifully decorated for the Christmas season, complete with gingerbread houses, and featured a "preserved table" that was set up as a tribute rather than for seating. This table showcased a wreath, an American flag, and more. It was heartening to see the owners’ commitment to such meaningful causes. I felt compelled to express my appreciation for their dedication to human rights, inclusivity, and their efforts to support those who may not always receive the help they need. In today’s divisive climate, it’s refreshing to encounter individuals who are making a difference, even when they may feel overlooked by politicians. The owner's response to me was simple yet profound: "It begins with love." And it truly does. I fell in love with this restaurant and wholeheartedly recommend that everyone visit when in Long Beach. We all need to support businesses that champion humanity.
Our other two guests arrived with their beloved dog, who seems to be a regular at the café (and knows it well). The staff were thrilled to see them, and the dog was even more excited to be fed some fresh turkey. The coffee and the egg sandwich I had were just perfect. This place truly believes in high-quality cooking and excellent service. Being a veteran-run establishment, it's hard not to have great respect for those who serve. I enjoyed every aspect of this visit: the atmosphere, the staff, the service, and the food. I highly recommend it!
Soon after my arrival in long beach coffee tea. I was greeted by the very friendly owners and found a table near the tw. they still served people who had come to the breakfast I had all eaten before I arrived there, so I enjoyed a large glass icy in the first quarter and ordered something suppe and a sandwich for half time. the suppe was made by cratzern and was delicious! they have boars head deli meat so, the sandwich was also great! very reasonable prices! it was a great culinary experience and fun to watch the game with other chiefs fans in long beach! if they haven't tried this place yet, they'll come by soon! you will not regret it!
One of the best tea I have ever had and food is also very tasty. great customer service it was very fast. enjoyed the vibes here, very friendly environment.
