Plunge - Long Beach

I would give this restaurant a five-star rating, but the app won't allow me because it's not entirely vegan. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the vegetarian options are outstanding. I frequently order the buffalo cauliflower wings, and they even offer vegan s'mores! They cater to residents in the nearby building, and the beach view from the lounge is absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend visiting, even though it's situated in a residential house.

There were several vegan options available, along with other menu items that could be made vegan. I ordered the curry cauliflower, and it was the best curry I’ve ever had. The view is stunning, right on the beach, and there’s live music too. There are also non-vegan options for those who aren’t vegetarian. My partner enjoyed his meal as well. We capped off our experience with the vegan s'mores, which were the best vegan dessert I’ve ever tried.

What a wonderful hidden gem! Situated on the second floor of a luxury apartment building (without infringing on residents' space), it boasts an amazing view of the beach and an inviting open floor plan. You can choose from sit-down tables, chairs, or a community table, all offering full ocean views. There’s also a TV area with a faux fireplace, perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine. Plus, there are a couple of cozy bean bag seating spots for enjoying a beer! The vegan chili was delicious, and the salads and breakfast bowl were excellent with generous portion sizes. They offer an eclectic drink selection, and the wait staff is fantastic! If you haven’t been yet, you really should check it out!

The setting at Plunge is truly fantastic. The dining room offers a beautiful view of the water, featuring the Queen Mary, the harbor, and the marina. The food is well-prepared, and there's a good selection of beer and wine. However, the service is what really stands out—it's exceptional! The staff is fun, enthusiastic, and attentive. We've thoroughly enjoyed our visits to Plunge.
