Promenade Cafe - Long Beach

My sister and I agreed to her birthday dinner on board Queen Mary. She has never been and it has been for me for more than a decade since my last visit. Together with our mom it turned out that it was the perfect day trip. Promenade Cafe may have been a casual choice, but the service she offered had the flair of Old Hollywood elegant and professional. I ordered the Chicken Panini, who tasted good. Mom had the chicken and the waffles, but the best lunch turned out to be the choice of Brisket Burger's birthday girl. A bite was all I needed to get the Cafe 4 stars along with the great service they provided and the great view of the Long Beach port.

The food is really good. But there's something strange about the staff. I think the manager has to be replaced. I've been here for two days and many people just don't seem to be very human. The workers are okay, just not very friendly. The food is hot, delicious and tasteful. The cook and the cooking staff obviously know what they do. They even managed to get extra crispy bacon on my father's burger when he asked. Speaking of Burger, it was one of the best I had. The Kinderburger is also ridiculously delicious and huge. The broken pommes are delicious! The green soup had really good spices and the Clam Chowder is exactly how I like it (which is on the slightly more liquid side) my potato peel smoked hot and the cheese curds were so delicious. The sauce with him was super tasteful. We had a club sandwich and the meat was super thick and the sandwich was huge! The ship museum right outside was the highlight of my lunch. He loved to see the models right in front of the restaurant

Sooooo good. Morning breakfast Sunday... the 4 of us have the buffet. Loved the potatoes, super fresh fruit, croissant, bacon especially. My Hubby and in. Laws have also carved about coffee. We went back on Monday, we thought only order from the menu, but the buffet was just too good so again. Yaay French Toast next to delicious waffles. Everything was great again. Thanks to chefs and servers for the great meals and experience.

The Beef Brisket Burger is the most awesome in the menu.... so far. We had to die for French fries, Clam Chowder, Cobb Salat and Queensburger. All delicious and hearty. I wish I lived near bc, that would be my weekly treatment!!!

We ordered the salmon and bagel. chicken and waffles. Friendly staff. Prices standard for the area.
