Our favorite ice cream stop at LBI! But if you're looking for cookie dough with chunks, keep moving. The kids would have been more disappointed if the rest of the sundae weren't so amazing.
For our annual trip to LBI, we decided to hit as many of the hot spots for ice cream as we could. While not our favorite, The Meltdown was great. The servers were all friendly and nice. The freezer containing the ice cream we purchased must have been malfunctioning since all of the ice cream was soft. Moosetracks was great. Cherry Vanilla was also very good. The Cookies Cream didn 't have any cookies in it, just crumbs. Death By Chocolate was good but not as good as Chocolate Thunder at Barrys. Mochaccino was also good.
I didn't really get to eat my ice cream because the girl put a whole bunch of ice cream in a small cup. I got rocky road with marshmallow syrup and from what I tasted it would have been phenomenal if I wasn't struggling to keep the ice cream in the cup. Good ice cream, nice people, just please don't give out cups overflowing so that whoever is holding it wants to put it down and wash their hands.
Great Ice Cream on LBI with a nice little park to sit and enjoy My wife and I recommend it highly. A zillion flavors to satisfy all
