Our server went above and beyond and even brought me a birthday beignet with a candle and sang to me! The fried pickles were the best I've ever had, with a perfect crunch and accompanied by a tasty dill sauce. The BLT was served on thick, yet soft bread that didn't hurt the roof of my mouth. The salad was tossed perfectly with vinaigrette and was probably my favorite dish. The French toast used for the monte cristo was sweet and delicious, reminding me of French toast from heaven. Everyone we encountered, from the hostess to the food runners to our server, was filled with joy and positive energy. The chefs in the kitchen clearly know what they are doing and are doing it incredibly well. This restaurant has become my new favorite spot and we will definitely be returning soon!
The staff, hospitality, service, and food always exceed expectations. The country breakfast is my favorite, perfectly seasoned.
This restaurant serves the best breakfast food in the LA/OC area. We tried the Monte Cristo and Breakfast in Bread, both served with a side of breakfast potatoes that we absolutely love. Matt especially enjoys the aioli that comes with the potatoes. This was our second visit together and Fabiana's fourth, as it is the only restaurant we have returned to as a couple. The atmosphere is welcoming and the business is run by allies who have created an open and friendly environment. The entirely vegan menu allowed us to try the delicious Vietnamese iced coffee. Overall, it was a great experience and we plan on returning soon.
Service is polite and efficient. The food is delicious and while it's in Long Beach there's definitely parking on a Tuesday morning. Clean and a laidback vibe. My mom and I split the stuffed French toast and burrizo; we both agreed they were yummy. The Vietnamese coffee is really good and with hot coffee they offer oat milk as well as vegan condensed milk which is just lovely. Tater tots are nicely seasoned plus crunchy, served with a great chipotle ailoi. Took some beignets to go and despite eating them a couple hours later I could recognize the freshness, pumpkin cream pairing was top notch. Would return.
I recently dined at this restaurant for brunch. The price per person was between $10-20. The food and service were both excellent, receiving a perfect score of 5. However, the atmosphere was lacking a bit and I would rate it a 3. Overall, a great dining experience at a reasonable price.
