Willmore Wine - Long Beach

This adorable wine bar has a relaxed atmosphere with a community feel. There is local art for purchase lining the walls and cute tables inside and out. The menu has a couple small sides that pair nicely with their wine. Staff is ready for recommendations and if you're lucky someone might hop on the piano and play a tune. I will absolutely be back.

Went here for first Fridays in December 2023. Cozy and warm. Enjoyed a bottle of Chardonnay and a nice Belgium beer. Everyone was nice that worked there. Enjoyed the ambiance with a pianist playing in the background. No complaints here. A good place to chill and enjoy good company. Definitely like the vibe. The only thing is that if you are not a San Francisco 49er fan, you may not like this place! LOL. The owner is a 49er fan.

The service here is fantastic, the decor with the notable lack of any screens is exceptionally earthy and warm feeling. I did not take my phone out once while there which feels like a good experience. Fellow patrons seemed there for conversation and wine which gave it a very European vibe. Had charcuterie plate and the monthly wine flight. The cheeses were great and the meats as well. I always run out of crackers but that's because I have to eat a couple plain crackers to clear my palette between cheeses and wines lol. The flight was one Italian white and one California red and an Italian Chianti. All good wines. Definitely will go back again. They have a wine club going as well $65ish for two bottles a month and a pickup party that includes heavy apps and a glass of wine not from your selection that month. Great little gem of a wine bar in a nice location.

My wife and I absolutely adore this place. It's so cozy and laid back, the staff really make you feel at home. We have been going ~1/mo for about a year and the owner (and sommelier) Ernie remembers our names, little facts about us, and loves to hear updates in our lives. This week we came in to get help picking out some pairings for a dinner party we're hosting and Ernie was amazing with the suggestions. He's a lovely person. The wine selection is wonderful, we're a big fan of the monthly flight selection. My wife and I love to to each get one and discuss our favourites, what pairings we think would be nice, and tend to always go home with a bottle. The food is also excellent! The best pastrami I have ever had, and their Thai Peanut Chicken Pasta is my wife's favourite. 10/10 super recommended! They also have live music most weekends!
