Dai Hachi - Long Island City

This place was so lovely! The staff are very nice and efficient; we ordered the age tofu, crazy tuna special roll, wasabi lobster roll, and Philadelphia roll. The wasabi lobster roll was my favorite!!Food: 5/5

We love coming here. It’s a standard Japanese sushi menu. They have great service and I like the vibe.Kid-friendliness: They always accommodate my children, it’s their favorite restaurant in LIC.

Came here mainly for their happy hour, which runs from 12-10 PM! I ordered the dai hachi matcha, lychee martini, Tokyo mojito, draft Sapporo, and hot sake. Out of the cocktails, the dai hatcha matcha is a must get! It’s strong and tastes like matcha! The other cocktails I had were on the sweeter side. I ended up getting 3 roll dinner combo: salmon avocado, spicy salmon, and eel cucumber. I thought the rolls were very average, however, I’d come back just for the happy hour! 4.1/5

Went here for a drink with my mom on a wed night. It was pleasant the staff was polite and courteous. The Margarita was good and strong. The atmosphere was classy and zen. Not many people in the resturant but their happy hour extends to 10pm. We didn’t try it but they also had hot sake.
