The taste is classic and spot-on; I consider this the best pizza, even better than Papa John’s, and I really mean it! I've never had any issues with this location. I’m a loyal customer for sure!
1. **Start with a simple question:** When they ask if you’d like to hear about the specials, answer either "yes" or "no." 2. **Delivery or Pickup:** Clearly state whether your order is for delivery or for pick-up. 3. **Provide Your Information:** Be ready to give your phone number and your name. 4. **Check Your Address:** Ensure they have your correct address on file, including any relevant street cross-streets. 5. **Payment Method:** Let them know if you'll be paying with cash or a card. If you're using a card, they will need your credit card information at the end of the order. 6. **Vouchers:** If you have a voucher, mention it at the beginning of the conversation, and provide the code. 7. **Take Your Time:** Start placing your order slowly. The staff needs to navigate their system accordingly for each item, including toppings. Don’t rush through your order; match your pace to theirs. It can be quite noisy in the kitchen, so speak clearly and a bit louder than usual. 8. **Extra Sauce and Drinks:** When ordering extra sauces, make sure to specify them after each item, as drivers are responsible for checking for these extras. The same goes for drinks—order them last, as this is their upsell opportunity. 9. **Listen Carefully:** Once your order is complete, the staff will repeat it back to you. Make sure to listen closely for any mistakes. 10. **Confirm Details:** Before hanging up, clarify whether your order is for delivery or pick-up, and whether you’re paying with cash or card—this is essential for the driver. 11. **Be Patient:** Remember that the estimated delivery time is generated by a computer and doesn’t account for real-life variables like how busy the restaurant is or how many drivers are available. Allow extra time, at least 15-20 minutes for cooking and boxing your food. 12. **Understand Staff Limitations:** A worker in a busy restaurant like Domino's often has a lot on their plate, so be patient and understanding. Many unforeseen circumstances can affect delivery, such as traffic or road closures. 13. **Drivers’ Work:** Drivers don’t just wait for orders; they are busy with various tasks in the restaurant, including cleaning, organizing, making pizzas, and answering phone calls. They often work hard and rely on tips since their pay is typically lower than most other service workers. 14. **Meet Your Driver:** If possible, meet your driver outside when they arrive. This ensures a smoother transfer of your order and gives you a chance to express your appreciation. 15. **Tipping:** Remember that drivers incur many expenses like gas, insurance, and vehicle maintenance which they are not reimbursed for. A $2 delivery fee does not go directly to them, so consider tipping at least 20% for their hard work. 16. **Fostering Communication:** Keep in mind that while mistakes and delays can happen, being respectful and following the ordering steps will help minimize errors. If something does go wrong or if your order is delayed, try to be patient. Drivers don’t control every aspect of delivery, and they work hard to ensure you receive your order.
