Taste &see Soul Food - Lorain

We ordered two half turkey sandwiches, two bowls of cheddar broccoli soup, two drinks, and two baked goods for 99 cents each, totaling $32.46. Instead of cutting the sandwiches, the staff member tore the bread apart, resulting in a huge mess since one sandwich had more bread than the other and the fillings fell out. It was clear that one of the employees preparing the food was new, and the other person was rude to them. When I inquired about the total, I was told it was correct, but they didn't mention that the sandwiches were sold a la carte with no bundled pricing. For this price, we could have eaten at a much better restaurant.

I experienced very poor service at this restaurant. I’ve received the wrong order multiple times. The lady at the reception, named Autumn, gave me the wrong order. Initially, this very rude woman insisted on keeping my order because she thought it was better, and then completely ignored me when I asked for help. She just told me to go ask someone else to fix it and walked away.

My wife visits this restaurant occasionally for lunch and enjoys the soup and sandwich options. She is a big fan of the broccoli soup, while I personally prefer the tomato bisque. However, the service can be inconsistent; at times it’s great, while at other times it falls short. I think the staff is quite young and could benefit from more training in customer service.
