Malinalli Superfoods - Los Angeles

I ordered the carne asada torta combo, which came with an aguas fresca and chips. The torta was delicious and the bread was incredible. The aguas fresca was very refreshing. I opted for the maracuya flavor, which was both tangy and sweet. The restaurant is small but cozy, with convenient parking in the middle of the block. It seems to be gaining popularity, so it's no longer a hidden gem only known to locals.

Please note that the restaurant closes at 6:00 pm. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodated us for dinner even though they were about to close. The food and their homemade sugar-free lemonade were fantastic. The portions were also very generous. We will definitely be returning.

Malinalli's is a special place; you get a sense of the culture and personality just by walking in and greeting the owner. The smoothies and bowls all taste clean, complex, and delicious, with high-quality ingredients! Although the business just started, the owner has made frequent efforts to support the community through bi-weekly open mic events monthly vegan pop-ups. If you're in the mood for delicious, healthy hunger-curbing food drinks, while also supporting the community, Malinalli's is by far the best place I've been to! Highly recommended for any local vegans in the Whitter area! P.S: If you order the Horchata, request a 1/4 cup of almond milk, tastes amazing. Updated from previous review on 2021-12-01
