Large vegetarian restaurant that is approved by carnivores!

Wait they personal was charming and friendly, but a bit forgotten, we had to remind them at 2 places that they had not brought us a few items we had ordered. but apart from that, we enjoyed our brunch at zinc.

Had not noticed that the menu was vegetarian when we made the res, but was very pleasantly surprised when we gave in the no meat idea and deaf in the delicious menu. we want to go back now just to try some other things we thought sounded good.

This is a very cool place, with a number of different dining realms. We opted for outdoor dining since it was brunch. The ambience was wonderful, the service great, and the food outstanding. As our first foray into the Arts District, we were a little unsure of what to expect on our drive from the freeway to the restaurant, but as soon as we saw the building and terrace, we knew we were at the right place. Need to come back Bar Mateo: looked very cool, but we would have never left had we started with **** Marys at 11:00 AM! But we will be back!
