Velvet Taco - Lubbock

Went to check “Party on the Terrace”... so much fun! prawan in register was so friendly and welcoming. kylee, the manager has checked us several times to make sure we had everything we needed. great service!

Lots of funky tacos available at Velvet Taco. The taco fillings were tasty. The tacos came out in a giant taco holder which was visually appealing but not very convenient since each person's tacos weren't together, and they also didn't give us plates to put them on I had to go back and grab some. The corn tortillas fell apart and didn't taste super fresh. The red velvet cake was delicious.

The fried cauliflower and queso are so good! Came on a Thursday when they do Party on the Patio and the live singer Tatum was awesome!

Originally, i had my reservations about paying $7 for a taco. Let me just tell you, they are completely worth it. These tacos are not small. They are full of whatever you order in them and full of flavor. The chicken and waffle taco has so many different flavors and textures in it and was delicious. The buffalo chicken taco was better than I even expected. The chicken tenders were perfectly cooked. The way the tacos were presented, even in a to-go container was beautiful. 5 stars for this place and we will 100% be ordering again.

Very enjoyable experience. Fresh ingredients. Really tasty and inventive recipes. We highly enjoyed the corn salsa and slaw that was inside the tacos we got. Staff is friendly and energetic.
