Whataburger - Lubbock

I have been following the manager, Debra, wherever she goes since 2013. She is incredibly friendly and remains calm and collected, even during the busiest hours. My visit today was fantastic, as usual. The gravy was perfect, the fries were hot and well-seasoned, and the restaurant was very clean and organized. A big thanks to Debra and her team!

Whataburger serves some of the best burgers in town! I always order the number 2, which comes with double patties, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, and mustard. Sometimes, I treat myself to a delicious apple pie and a sweet tea to go with it.

Place was very well kept up. All was orderly place for easy assess. Food was delicious! Prices were low compared to other places that served the same item(s). Staff all wore masks. Place was not crowed at time I was there. Staff were very politeand profession.

I had a decent patty melt, but I was disappointed by the lack of green chile on the burger. It seemed like everyone, except the shift manager, was working at a low capacity. The paper towel dispenser was overflowing, making a mess on the men's room floor. I even saw a hairnet floating in the toilet, and there was no toilet paper in the women's restroom. Overall, it was not a great experience. It's no surprise that the Braum's next door appeared to be a much more popular option.

I never had a good experience in this place. In the past we have waited for 45 minutes on the way, and tonight we had to go when no one came to take our order or even acknowledge us when they saw that we were standing at the counter. The ride through was busy, but there were only two others in the dining room. I'm patient, but I lose this patience when I laugh and go on the back.
