Starbucks - Ludlow

I never expected that a grande iced coffee would take 30 minutes to prepare, especially with no line at the café. They messed up my order the first time and then took another 15 minutes to get it right.

I really enjoy Starbucks and visit frequently. However, during my latest trip, I ordered my usual drink, and it tasted terrible—I'm not sure what went wrong! I also ordered a blonde roast for my husband but received a dark roast instead. Typically, the staff at Starbucks are very friendly, but that wasn't the case this time. The woman at the drive-thru was quite unfriendly. When you pay higher prices at a toll plaza, you expect the same quality you usually receive!

The staff is always friendly when they are open, despite the prices being higher than those at the nearby gas station (they know you can’t get Dunkin in Palmer). In any case, I’d recommend just getting an iced coffee from McDonald’s instead since it’s cheaper!

This is the only Starbucks I know that closes without warning on a weekly basis. Not clear if this is a management decision or staffing issue, but when commuting, it 's become my favorite running joke to drive by and see if they put out that black chalkboard blocking the drive thru stating Sorry, we 're closed today! This happened a lot more often when it was a Honeydew Donuts drivethru, so it makes me wonder if the property owners are trying to save cash and write something off as a loss. I have no proof, though! Staff was always nice when they are open, even with the prices marked up like the nearby gas station (they know you 're not getting Dunkin in Palmer). Either way, just get an iced coffee at the McDonald 's. It 's cheaper anyways!

Maybe it’s because it’s right off the highway but this place has outrageous prices, even for a Starbucks. I got a grande caramel macchiato and it came out to over $7!!! For a GRANDE! Not even a venti! No wonder there was no line at 8:30 AM. Inflation is already bad enough.
