Ocean View - Lyme Regis

We ordered whitebait, mussels, and scallops, and everything was excellent. The whitebait was the best I've ever had—so flavorful and tender. The owner is quite a character and adds to the experience!

The restaurant is in a fantastic location with a stunning view of Lyme Bay. The staff was excellent; they found us a table with a great view from indoors since all the outdoor seats were full on that lovely day. They were wonderful with our one-year-old, showing genuine care and attentiveness without being overwhelming. I can't wait to have that delicious crooked sandwich again!

We enjoyed our meal outside in the warm December sunshine, where we were treated to delicious food and friendly service.

I stopped in for lunch and a glass of wine, and I was pleasantly surprised. The scallops were perfectly prepared, and the fish of the day was absolutely fabulous. The fish and chips were also delicious. With friendly and efficient service, this place is truly a gem by the sea.

If you pass by Ocean View without stopping for a meal, you’re making a huge mistake! The food is absolutely fantastic, the drinks are refreshing, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Without a doubt, they serve the best fish and chips, accompanied by deliciously flavorful peas.
