Monte Carlo - Lynchburg

Every time I visit Monte Carlo, it feels like I've stepped back into a bygone era of old-world Europe. Filippo and his family always make us feel like we're part of their family, and he effortlessly accommodates any special requests my partner has. What a hidden gem! The waitress was fantastic, and the food was exceptional. I wish I had taken a picture of the garlic knot we enjoyed before the meal—it was perfectly baked! We had a party of nine, and everyone loved their meals. The gnocchi and tortellini in a lovely Bolognese sauce were delicious, the pizza was wonderful, and the lasagna was great. I haven't had meatballs this delicate since my Italian grandmother made them for me. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place!
