Aux Trois Maries - Lyon

Amazing lyonnaise eating. my man and both got the menu de lyon and it was one of the best meal times I had in france (and we are here 3 years! the fish soufflé was light and airy and swimming in a beautiful crab bisque. the pistachio sausage of my...man was wonderful and like nothing I've ever tried. we arrived 30 minutes before the opening of the restaurant, but they sat and took our orders immediately. they gave us an essence of the cauliflower soup that was wonderful, and free (and I don't like especially cauliflower. all our food came immediately and the waiter was very attentive. the prices were so reasonable and sitting outside was nice. all in all, one of our best restaurants in France

Our dinner here could have been one of the worst we ever had. visit usa and have a chance here. a mistake. the wings and the risotto were both terrible. nothing but big balls of tasteless ****. I'm not sure what. we're not big foods and usually quite easy to satisfy, but that was terrible. so sad that we ate this place in lyon. absolutely terrible.

Aux Trois Maries is located in the heart of a pedestrian area. It is a small white table cloth restaurant with a very French feel. We sat a a small table surrounded by French families and couples...no tourists in sight. Valerie ordered the Lyon Sausage...with Pistachios; I ordered a filet. The meals were beautifully presented, the preparation excellent and the price right! If you wish a French dining experience, you can 't beat this lovely place.

We were welcomed despite having no reservation. Prices are not too high. Menu Lyon excellent value. Traditional local food. Cooked fresh. Very little waiting time. Staff was friendly and accomodating. One not to be missed.

Do you have a friend who always knows the best places to eat? I had some fancy guests in town (aka Mom & Dad) and since I'm not that fancy most of the time
