Excellent! - Lyon

Came here for lunch with a reservation on TheFork. This restaurant has truly merited all the good reviews it has received online. The service was really friendly and prompt; waiting time for the food was reasonable.Food-wise, we ate incredibly well. I took a menu of starter (tuna steak) and main course (beef chimichurri) while my partner went with a faux-filet steak. The dishes were well presented, we could clearly taste the freshness of the ingredients and the quality of the preparation was simply impressive. Price wise, we found the meal of good value. The wine list composed of wines that matched well with the dishes and of pretty good quality (none of the cheap and nasty stuff often plonked on the table in many French restaurants).The ambiance of the restaurant is quite unique, and it definitely is a good option for a special occasion but the price is friendly enough for it to remain a good regular lunchtime option.

What a pleasant surprise in the heart of Lyon! My friends and me were searching for a nice place to eat. We like to see how the locals do it instead of joining the standard touristic routes. The atmosphere was good when we entered, and was even better when we left. It was a cozy happening and we were treated very personal. The food tasted fresh and very well prepared. I can also recommend to try one of their home made desserts. 5 stars.

My partner and I had a hard time timing our hunger with France's mealtimes. A mid-afternoon thirst and need to rest brought us into Excellent! and we were not disappointed. We only happened to need beer and tea to recharge, but had a great visit nonetheless. When the owner heard our terrible French he came out to our table to chat (we were the only customers at that time of day) and we had a lovely conversation. He's so enthusiastic about his business and about tourism and life in general. It was a highlight of out stay in Lyon.

Very pleased whit the food and drinks and overall atmosphere. I recomand it 110%. Next time in Lyon i will come back.

Went here for lunch with a friend - we're not the easiest customers as I'm veggie and my friend has coeliacs disease. When we mentioned this we were told it wasn't at all a problem and we're both presented with really tasty and generous dishes - everything was home made and really fresh! My friend said the meat was fantastic. My salad was delicious. I would definitely return!!!!
