Nice pub. Wait staff was friendly and pub was clean. Food was not what I expected. 2orders of fish, seafood chowder and a black bean burger. The battered fish chips. Fish was more batter than fish and fries were ok. Fries should have been homemade instead of frozen. The seafood chowder was runny. Black bean was burnt. No worth the money paid for each dish. To say I won’t be going back.
Great vibe, delicious food. A must visit if you have a chance. Didn’t have enough time to stay for the music but apparently it’s a good time when the live music is happening.
This restaurant is vegan friendly and the staff are incredibly friendly, exuding east coast hospitality. Once the music started playing, the atmosphere was set and the rest is history.
We had a fantastic dinner at Red Shoe in Mabou, with incredible Ceilidh music (fiddle and piano) to top it off. Our delicious entrees consisted of salmon, halibut, and scallops accompanied by a lovely mix of vegetables and potatoes, as well as an outstanding kale and spinach salad.
