Coolmango Salad Bar - Mackay

If locals come, it's certainly a good sign ! Perfect for our quick lunch, big salad and nice food, staff helpful and friendly. We felt so welcome, as if we were living in Mackay. We left full and happy !

After hours on the road we were looking for a place for lunch and found Coolmango in TripAdvisor so gave it a go. So my expectation was perhaps a pie - disappointed on that idea!! Wrap with salad no less!Not a lot to be said really. Friendly service, prepared to do that little extra - like a late (very late) breakfast item when asked (claiming they could do it as they were not busy!!!) - looked quite busy actually! But the service was still personal.After getting detail about what was required - end result was excellent!

Sandwiches custom made to your liking. What makes it to die for is the freshness of the salads, dairy & meat products. Just so yum.

Popped in yesterday while in town and grabbed a roast beef wrap for lunch. Dressings came in a little tub so wrap stayed nice til lunch Time. Salads were fresh and meat was tender. Had a full wrap and it was very filling certainly got me through til tea time. And for morning tea I got a little bag of almond bread. That was a real treat. And sliced so thin it was almost guilt free. Yummy.

Just had the best egg ???? & bacon ???? roll for years @ the Cool Mango Salad Bar in Mackay, it was huge and delicious ????. The service was also excellent and even had a cappuccino. Give this business a go you won't be disappointed.
