The Gate House - Mackinac County

I split a bacon grilled cheese with my daughter I had a Michigan mule. Both were delicious! Not a long wait either!

The Gate House restaurant located on Mackinac Island, Michigan is a very good restaurant. It is located on the grounds of The Grand Hotel. It’s a great lunch spot. It has a lot of choices to choose from. Casual restaurant. We recommend this restaurant.

The food here was absolutely delicious. Everyone from our party of 6 enjoyed everything from the cocktails to the main course and then desserts. It was worth every cent. The atmosphere was easy going and casual. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The entire place is cleaned and well kept. I would recommend 100 times over!

This place was very nice and the food was pretty fancy. We sat out on the patio to eat lunch and we could see the Grand Hotel from our seat. I would recommend the Chicken sandwich and the Bavarian Soft Pretzel. The Pretzel was huge!

We were immediately greeted with a smile! Our sever was attentive and worked with our large group perfectly! Thank you Adan! Nachos, draft beer, sandwiches and appetizers were portioned well for the price and perfect for smaller meals. Definitely worth a visit off the beaten path!
