Scalawags Whitefish Chips

I had heard good things about scalawags before I came to mackinaw city. while other members of my group got at another place pasties (I am not a fan,) I gave that.

I really liked this place. the white fish and chips were delicious. I loved the tartaric acid sauce and coleslaw. I was kind of disappointed at the chowder, but I wouldn't recommend that. great food, service and atmosphere.

Cannot go wrong to eat at scalawag! always from the first stop when we arrive in mackinaw city. the whitefish chowder is amazing! try it! the personal is always friendly!
