The Bean And Bun - Maclear

On a very rainy Sunday on the road, with everywhere else closed, this was a welcome stop to grab a coffee! Unfortunately the tables inside were full so we couldn't stay, but the Daschund on the takeaway coffee cups gave us a smile for the road. Conveniently located on the corner as you enter, or leave Maclear, it'll be a place to stop the next time we pass that way.

Best place to stop for the best coffee on the way to the Drakensberg from Capetown or back home. The breakfast is very good, good service and friendly staff. Interesting jams, salts and other stuff to shop there. A must stop if you pass through Maclear.

What a lucky find this was! We had a light lunch and stocked up on pickles, some fruit and snacks. The cappuccino was delicious- the large really is large! There’s even a small selection of herbs and fruit trees. Thanks so much to the owners for the warm welcome and fast friendly service.

Wow, the most delicious cheese and onion muffins, I have ever had. Such a lovely place to stop at when traveling, so worth it. Thank you for your delicious food and excellent service

My family and I had a fantastic time here the food is perfect and coffee anazing. A true hidden gem!
