China Gourmet - Macon

This restaurant was just as described in previous reviews: difficult to find but with excellent food and service. It is definitely worth the effort to locate this hidden gem. The interior is beautifully decorated with not only great artwork and curiosities, but also unique musical instruments that add a special charm. When you walk through the door, you are transported to a different world than what you see from outside. The food is delicious with generous portions, and the prices are reasonable. The owner is very attentive and I will definitely be back next time I am in Macon.

Delicious, perfectly seasoned, good meat and vegetables. owner is charming, and this mother and pop place is a fantastic sound. ananas huh was tasty, so was eier role. you can't see this place from the road, as it is lined around the side of a stripe-mall, but it's worth tracking down. near I75. Loyal clientele clear in the love to eat and service, and so they should be!

Amazing as always! Husband and I discovered this place with a Google search a few years ago. The owner is the sweetest lady ever! The decor was hand made by her mother. THE FOOD IS AMAZING!!!! I now get cravings for her chicken lo mein if I stay away too long!

Neither my wife or myself were very hungry so we ordered 3 child’s plates figuring that would be equivalent to two small adult servings. Whoa! Were we surprised. There was enough delicious food for tonight’s dinner. Plus we have leftovers for lunch and possibly dinner tomorrow. Great food, Great service, Great prices. Next time we’re in Macon we will definitely be stopping here.
