I would definitely recommend this place for weddings or parties. My experience was amazing. Good price, great food and great views.
The view from Sublime Point Cafe overlooking Illawarra and the sea is beautiful and fantastic. The food was excellent with a wide selection from a special Mother's Day menu that was delicious. The service was outstanding, with attentive and fast staff who were happy to help. Despite it being a busy day, there were plenty of seating options available. We would definitely return, as the trip from Goulburn was worth it. Our 90-year-old mother and grandmother enjoyed every meal, which is rare for her. Overall, we had a great experience at Sublime Point Cafe and it was a wonderful choice to spend Mother's Day there. It offers much more than just a cafe experience and is worth the price.
The high tea sandwiches were a disappointment, as they were the worst tasting sandwiches I've ever had. I couldn't finish them. The staff were friendly, but appeared overworked as we waited 45 minutes before they brought water, tea, and the promised sparkling beverages. The café offers a la carte menu options that looked more appetizing.
We stumbled upon this restaurant while driving home and were pleasantly surprised. The waitress was very accommodating in helping me choose dishes suitable for my IBS, even though we hadn't called ahead to make any arrangements. She also consulted the chef for suggestions. The salt and pepper bowl was delicious, although I did receive hummus with garlic despite requesting no garlic, onion, or chickpeas. When I pointed this out to the waitress, she apologized profusely. I don't expect a restaurant to cater specifically to my dietary needs, but it's nice when they make an effort and apologize if something goes wrong. The view at the restaurant is amazing and my partner's slowly roasted beef meal was excellent. All the meals being served around us looked appetizing and the high teas looked especially appealing. Overall, a beautiful place to visit.
The worst High Tea we have ever been served and at $44 per head it was highway robbery View was beautiful
