At first, we almost walked past it because there was no visible sign outside, but we're so glad we didn't miss out on this hidden gem. The atmosphere inside was small and cozy, and you order at the bar where a staff member gives you a number for a server to bring out your food. We tried the beef and pork buns and they were delicious. We're looking forward to going back and trying their kimchi next time. The Morris Ramen we had was a simple dish but packed with flavorful depth. One notable thing about the hygiene was that the chopsticks and soup spoons were unwrapped at the tables. Overall, we had a great time - the service was quick and the staff was friendly.
This restaurant is amazing, but it can be difficult to locate and has early closing hours. Keep an eye out for a sign on the door in a hidden doorway. I missed it on my first night in town because it was already closed. The locals adore this place, as evidenced by the high volume of takeout orders. In addition to delicious Japanese dishes, they also have a fantastic selection of draft beers. You can't go wrong with the namesake dish at Morris Ramen, so be sure to order a bowl of their famous ramen.
Despite hearing many positive recommendations from friends, I did not have the chance to visit this restaurant during my time as a resident. However, upon returning to town for the holidays, my friends insisted on meeting here for a meal. The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere, with a subtle entrance leading into a beautiful and inviting establishment. Our group of six was seated at a table near the entrance, while other guests sat at the bar or along the wall at long bench tables. You place your order at the counter and receive a number for your food to be brought to you. The menu offers a variety of buns, ramen, and donburi, as well as a wide selection of drinks. My wife enjoyed her sake, and I was pleasantly surprised by the mule I ordered. While the ramen was good, it turns out that I am not a huge fan of it. This is not a reflection on the restaurant, as I would have preferred to try the donburi. Overall, it was a truly enjoyable meal, and the host even went above and beyond by taking our photo. They stood on a bench to get a better angle, holding the phone up high to capture the moment.
The ramen here was good but I personally wasn?t a fan because they leave the fat(? in the broth and overall it just left a weird aftertaste for me. The donburi and chicken wings were good though!
Decent Japanese cuisine restaurant to get Ramen. I liked the ambiance of the place, peaceful and calm. Ample seating and good service. It?s kind of hard to spot the restaurant from the road, you have to look for the sign on the door. The ramen was good compared to most places I had. If you like spicy food ask for the spicy bomb. I liked the fact that they had a good choice of food for vegans and vegetarians.
