Wendell's Fish Chips - Maesteg

This is a classic, old-fashioned chips shop. It doesn't have any frills or pretensions—just excellent fish that is fresh and delicious. Wendell takes pride in its five-star hygiene rating and has a wonderful team.

The portion sizes are generous and reasonably priced. The quality of the chips had declined for a while, but they have significantly improved now. However, the opening hours can be a bit unreliable. I highly recommend the fish bites; they are more affordable than the cod, but the portion size is similar, and the quality remains excellent.

My favorite spot in the neighborhood! The food is always delicious and warm, with generous portions and a wide variety of choices on the menu, all reasonably priced.
