Chez Max - Magenta

We fell by chance on the restaurant and it's a real finding. very joyous atmosphere - max is clearly a character - and food was excellent. We were lucky, but wait for you to book. If you like steak tartare, max prepares it for you at your table, a stallion that is worth the detour.

Reviews are perfectly the reflection of this good table where the welcome of the boss is really warm. the rest of the team plays the discretion in the background, so his personality is strong. the desire to please, to share an approach that is deliberately focused on the great freshness of the products and the taste of it. My husband and I visited max for dinner on Friday night on recommendation and it certainly did not disappointed. I called the day before to make our reservation and the person I spoke to on the phone spoke a perfect English so there was no problem there. ) and had a lot of time to digest the menu. It was nice to have the chance to eat traditional French cuisine in such a warm and relaxing environment. the food was divine, the incredible cheese tray and a great selection of wines. the restaurant owner took our order and took the time to explain the dishes we ordered to make sure that we were satisfied with our choices. Do it. Everyone here couldn't do more to make the service more charming. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant and for the quality of food and the level of service, the prices were really very reasonable.

Wonderful place with a very French atmosphere. its owner and room leader max makes you feel very well and shows the professional and helpful side of the hotel industry. If you're in epernay, it's a place to go.

Super host, great welcome, good food. My wife, my little girl and my dog recently came down to max for my birthday meal. We were greeted as old friends when we arrived, a table to welcome our dog and our daughter in a high chair. As my wife is pescetarian, there was a lot of choice in fish (she chose St. James shells), but vegetables and vegans may have to specify their needs in the restaurant. they were happy to describe the contents of the dishes to keep you straight. I, on the other hand, chose the roast lamb square. It was great. the bubbles we had at the aperitif were superb, but when I looked at the glass of red wine that I had, I think it might have been stuck - my fault that I didn't raise it at the time. Overall, we loved the place and will certainly return to it during our next visit to Emernay.
