Valley Tavern - Maggie Valley

The flavors of the food were amazing! We ordered the fried pickles, smothered chicken, and Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Both the delicious dishes and attentive server enhanced our dining experience.

The spot we usually visit ever year was closed down. But then we found this gem. To me the price was higher than what I normally pay, but the food was good and the portions were decent. Everyone was friendly and it was clean. Lots of tvs for all of yoursports needs and it was kid friendly. I think this will need to be the regular Maggie Valley stop

The service at this restaurant started off poorly. I was staying at the hotel next door and went into the bar with a beer. The bartender told me I couldn't bring the beer in, so I quickly finished it and placed the empty can on the bar. However, this seemed to be a mistake as she then refused to serve us. Not only did she refuse, but she also instructed another waitress not to serve us. When I tried to address the issue at the bar, she rudely muttered something as she walked past and wouldn't repeat it when I asked her to speak up due to the loud karaoke in the background. Just as we were about to leave, a young man came out from the back, was extremely nice, took our order, and promptly brought us our food. Considering the difficult times businesses are facing, I personally would not have the original bartender or the other waitress working at my establishment.

The restaurant was understaffed during our visit, but I don't blame them for that. Our server was friendly and the atmosphere seemed more like a bar that also serves food. If you're looking to have drinks and hang out, you'll probably enjoy yourself here. However, I think I'll try other restaurants in town before coming back here to eat.

Great Restaurant and Bar! Are here twice will staying at the motel. Live music each night. Plenty of seating and friendly service!
