My wife and I enjoy having Sunday dinner at this bakery, where we typically have a slice of cake or a quiche followed by coffee and more cake. Due to the virus, there have been closures, changes in operating hours, and general uncertainty in Adelaide. It is a relief to return to this bakehouse. The atmosphere is peaceful with few people dining on Sunday evenings. The service is attentive and the food is beautifully presented. My only critique is that there is a limited selection of cakes, unless they have doughnuts! Overall, it was a good experience.
Today I decided to stop by this restaurant for a coffee and a pastry as the second part of my lunch. I was hoping to find a cozy and charming atmosphere after the Covid-19 pandemic, and I was successful! The cafe has indoor seating for around 15 people, as well as a small outdoor seating area. They offer a good selection of pastries and baked goods. There is plenty of parking available on the street and the restaurant is easily accessible. I enjoyed my Mini-Kitchener Bun and a delicious cappuccino, both of which were brought to my table with a paper napkin and a wrapped fork. It was a great way to finish off my lunch!
This is a beautiful little bakery where we come from time to time to have a light lunch. it is easy to reach, has many parking places close to and has a pleasant escapade. But today we were somewhat disappointed. the pink jelly cake...and mini-kitchen bung were good, and on separate plates with fork and serviette brought on our table. for the first cure, I ordered a potato cake and a quiche, both with sauce. I picked this up from the counter, again beautifully presented. but my wife thought the quiche was old, and my potato cake was 't a potato cake, had small bits in it and was 't very hot. we come back: maybe they had a free day!
We were on the way to Penfolds winery and was looking for a local cafe to have a coffee. Nice coffee but not the best. We also bought Chocolate donut and was okay but miss to take photo it was big enough to share for...two people. Cafe is easy to find since it's along the Magill Rd and easy to find parking.
