Poulet Manille - Makati City

Ordered their Peri-Peri Chicken. It looked appetizing upon serving. It was tender but lacked flavor. Turned to be too spicy too. Service was very bad. We were here around 230pm on a Friday holiday so there was hardly anyone in Makati. At the time we were here, we were the only customers. Upon entrance, the waiters were not accommodating at all. They were chitchatting and were busy drinking cocktails. They were not attending to us as they were busy with their boisterous laughter. I will not eat here again.

FOOD My friends and I ordered the following for lunch:  Polynesian Chicken Curry - The curry and spices in this dish are just right and will not overwhelm you. I think they already deboned the chicken for you so you can just worry about enjoying your meal.  Surf & Turf Linguini - At first bite, this dish surprised me because I was not expecting it to be really spicy. Eventually, I got used to the level of spiciness because the bacon and prawns balanced everything out.  Grilled Chicken & Cheese Sandwich - The fries and salad served with the sandwich make for the perfect light meal for lunch. They don't skimp on the ingredients for the sandwich, which is a good thing.  SERVICE Service was prompt and the staff was very friendly. They attend to your needs especially when it comes to refilling your water, which is a good thing cause you don't need to call their attention and just focus on enjoying your food.  AMBIANCE The atmosphere of the place is a combination of homey and chic. You'll feel right at home once you are seated. You still get a bit of privacy even if it gets crowded during peak hours.  TIP: My friends and I booked a table at Poulet Manille using the BigDish app and got 15% discount off our bill. The discounts actually vary and ranges from 10-30% depending on the time you made your reservation. We were able to save a lot using this app.

The chicken was not well marinated, it does not have much taste but it does look good from outside. They put the sauce on after the chicken is cooked to the flavor does not penetrate through the whole chicken and is only on the skin. The peri peri tasted of nothing but chili. - Side dish is a little bit oily though.
