Black Canyon Coffee - Makati

I'm excited to try this restaurant because I'm craving for an authentic thai food to satisfy my taste buds. I wasn't disappointed with the plating but the taste wasn't great. Doesn't taste like thai food. Crispy prawn with tamarind sauce is dry and the sauce is too sweet. The stir-fried chicken with hot basil is very salty. Ambiance is good, very cozy.

One of my favorite Thai restaurants with coffeine boost! The menu is authentic with a variety of Western dishes to complement and satisfy a range of clientele's appetites. Must-try Thai items include the Phad Thai, Tom Yum Soups, Curries and Rice Porridges. Their creamy pastas, omelets and sandwiches and the salmon steak are all good too. These are our usuals. For drinks, whew! There are just way too many great options I just have to order one cold and one hot drink each visit!

Great place to visit while strolling in Ayala Circuit. Quality coffee and good thai food! Service was attentive too! Btw, iced and hot beverages are cool!

I thought they pulled out from PH already, I'm so glad I saw one branch here at Circuit Makati. Ordered Black Canyon Hot Coffee as I started to feel sleepy already from all the MSG we ate at one of the Chinese restaurants. Their staff was very friendly they kept me entertained while waiting. They casually gave me three sugar and two creamer when my coffee arrived so I asked why this many sugar? That's when I learned the drink I ordered was actually 5 shots of espresso. Now I'm writing this review at 1 am.

I was satisfied with the taste of Tom Yum Shrimp, Pad Thai, and the pork and chicken dishes. The portions were not that big, however, the taste and flavor of the dishes revealed good techniques with the use of the wok and fire. Ingredients were well blended which elevated the flavors that I enjoyed. I recommend this place.
