Tapella - Makati

In just a few days, this restaurant will celebrate its 10th anniversary, and I will continue to return for the delicious food. The chuleton is a must-order. In my opinion, they serve the best paella, with my favorites being the mixed paella and the black paella. They also offer a fantastic selection of tapas, including pulpo a la gallega, lapu lapu in pil pil sauce, chistorra, huevos, and calamari. The only downside is that Greenbelt 5 is in need of a lift and renovation; the air conditioning is quite poor, and there are water leaks here and there.

We ordered the Valentine's pair deal (set 2) and it was a delight! The lapu lapu was exceptional; I would choose this every time if I could. I have to bring another friend to try it because the crust was incredible. Even the little potato side dish served with the fish was bursting with flavor! Mmm, mmm, mmm! Thank you, Tapella! The rest of the dishes were good, but nothing impressed me quite like the delicious fish dish. Mmm!
