Wendy's - Makati

The place is good. We ordered chicken nuggets, spaghetti, french fries, and mango drink. I love the sauce of my nuggets. Though I am disappointed with their mango drink.

Basis for my rating is my experience today upon availaing of the Booky App deal for Buy One Get One Biggie Iced tea for take out. it’s such a super good deal at for two. I’m just using my free trial period Booky App access and I was able to claim the promo with no problems. I got one classic and one lite and both are equally good. For me, Wendy’s house blend iced tea is really one of the best tasting ones, my favorite! They also have a good location which is right beside the cinemas so I can enjoy my favorite drink while watching a movie.

Wendys reminds me of my youth. There was a branch in Paco next to 7-11, this is where I was trained in the addicting taste of fast food burgers. The Glorietta 4 branch is always full of customers rushing to Grub before their respective film screenings. I don't remember the last time I was here. I stopped watching movies on Glorietta 4 after arguing with someone who purposely answered a call at the theater while Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel shared a ride high while The Smiths sang in the background. Anyway, after my brief visit to Mega and Shang, I decided to swing at Glorietta. And I thought of Wendys. I haven't eaten any fatty fast food in a while. Ordered fish fillet and fries and a regular vanilla frosty. What happened, Wendys? The fries are oily and damp which made me a little sad. I prefer hers over Ronalds. The fillet is ok considering the price. Fried breaded fish fillet, the crust is just right, not too thick that you will hardly taste the fish. The texture of the fish is a bit dry, maybe too long in the fryer? It's good that the set comes with a creamy tartar sauce. Wendy's Frosty is the poor man's artisanal frozen treat. This is an unhealthy fast food treat that I'll never tire of. Creamy, subtle and very addicting vanilla flavor, not overly sweet. I was planning on growing up, but I remembered my diet so I opted for the tiny cup.

Helpful staff: ok Clean: yes CR availability: no OR availability: yes Notes: The size of your food does not match the price. They're more expensive than McDo and Jollibee, but the serving size is the same, if not smaller. Oh and they don't have plastic to eat so no straw or disposable items (city ordinance)
