Very large hotel, at the reception we did not have to wait for the check in and were welcomed friendly. The parking lot is very large. The room was large and spacious, but only a case deposit (for 2 people. The bed was also large and cozy. Bathrobes for the pool were available, but the pool was not easily accessible. The way there was far and you had to go over the road to another building (in January and in the bathrobe quite cold . The pool does not belong to the hotel but seems to be a separate facility. There you need 3€ for a bath hood and the dressings were ice cold. The pool itself was okay (one side to swim the other with whirlpool, but the way there was anything but pleasing. Definitely a point trigger. The room otherwise was well equipped (bathrooms, bathing pads, shampoo, hair dryer, etc. . However, the way to our room was somewhat confusing and long, which was probably due to the size of the hotel. Dublin Airport was 18 minutes by car.

Had a great stay at the Grand Hotel. Reception area was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our room/bathroom was comfortable spotless. Susan at reception was fantastic. She was so professional and friendly. She was so kind and helpful with the kids. Nothing was too much. She is an asset to the hotel! 304/200

Good choice of restaurants and bar. Free parking. Great seafront location. Good selection of tasty food. Quite clean, nicely renovated, pleasant atmosphere. Generally all together very nice customer service however the waiting staff in the sea view restaurant was very busy. Fully understand due to peak hours, although waiting was a bit too long. food wasn't warm enough. Review is based on multiply visits. Highly recommended.
