Ragu Creole Cuisine - MALENY

I have to tell you about this hidden gem in the heart of a charming town. Ragu is without a doubt the best Haitian creole cuisine I have ever had in Australia. My absolute favorite dish was the sweet potato fudge cake! Even though the menu is small and focused, I don't mind at all. The chef and owner is incredibly friendly and passionate about his food and culture. He has carefully selected his signature dishes so diners don't have to worry about choosing from a lengthy menu if they are new to his amazing kitchen. With each dish, you can taste the love and passion put into it. Do yourself a favor and give this underrated restaurant a try - you won't regret it!

Best food ever. Takes you to another part of the world. My family and I loved it. We had the jerk chicken and the fish curry, both dishes full all flavour. The rice is out of this world. Located in Maleny Lane, this authentic ‘hole in the wall’ eatery is absolutely amazing and a unique option to others. The food is cooked with love, care and an abundance of flavours. The fritters were freshly made and delicious. I went the fish curry meal with fermented pineapple juice and couldn’t stop complementing every bite. Go a support this friendly guy and his beautiful food

Ragu is Hands down the most fantastic and authentic Haitian Creole cuisine I have had in Australia my absolute favourite was the sweet potato fudge cake!! While the menu is small and specialised I feel this is not a bad thing. And here is why, the chef and owner who is fantastically friendly and so passionate about his food and culture picks his highlight dishes so you don't have to worry about selecting off a large menu if you had not tried the wonderful cuisine before. With his selections you know the food is going to be special, amd you will taste the soul and passion in every bite. Do your self a favour and try this unknown and very underrated food you will not be sorry!!!.
