Contribuisci feedbackPros- Owner, Chef David, obviously cares not just about his business but about his employees- All private chefs were delightful to work with; clever, friendly, and efficient- Chef Thomas nailed our requests for non-European foods , made incredibly impressive menus for such comparatively cheap grocery listsCons- Administrative issues- Multiple times people were supposed to reach out to us for various things but did not- Every time the ball was dropped, Chef David seemed to be the only one handling things instead of a 2nd in command or an admin- Multiple times notes were not taken or transferred, resulting in mistakes/delays for the chefsBottom Line: Service was absolutely worth it and allowed us to eat healthy, diverse foods despite hectic schedules. We will be back!
I brought in Down to Earth for a dinner party for eight at my home and they exceeded expectations. It was worth every cent. They came early, brought everything they needed, cooked and served a three course meal, and cleaned up after. I could not tell there was a dinner party at my house. They were professional and kind while helping me navigate the dietary challenges of all my guests and come up with the perfect menu. I will absolutely use them again and start enjoying my parties instead of working them.
I was in the process of planning an 80th birthday for my husband at our home. He wanted a Low Country Boil for the occasion and initially, we planned to cook it ourselves. Fortunately, a few relatives encouraged us to get help with the party, as approximately 95 people were coming! I chose Down to Earth Catering after speaking with David. He gave us a fair price and was good at communicating with us. Down to Earth had excellent reviews on their website, also. 4 chefs arrived to cook/prepare our food. We had jumbo shrimp, king crab, andouille sausage, onions, potatoes and corn in the Low country boil. Everything was delicious but the corn (which was kinda mealy). Highly recommend David and Down to Earth. They did a fantastic job. The party was phenomenal.
We had Chef Kenny of Down to Earth Cuisine prepare and serve a 5 course vegan dinner at our home to celebrate an anniversary. Menu was unique, food delicious and on top of that he was very friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend both Kenny and Down to Earth Cuisine for an event like this.
Incredible experience with both customer service as well as food. After missing original dates due to Covid complications we finally were able to have our 4 course meal. Chef Tom H was just as patient with kid’s questions and gave them an up close look at a mango caramelization . The food is even better than the menu reads and was just as delicious for those /without/ the gluten/dairy allergies, all while avoiding a host of other dislikes and mild restrictions. It’s a fabulous experience, highly recommend. Thank you, chefs David and Tom!
