Fremont Brewing's Urban Beer Garden

This has been one of our favorites for a long time. Would love to give this place five stars, but the attitude of a staff member has ruined our most recent experience. We bought our toddler a root beer in a bottle. He was sitting on a bench, when, being a toddler, he dropped it. We quickly moved him away and put him on the floor, distracting him with a game. A blonde server came over. After we explained what happened, she stated it was dangerous for him to be playing on the floor and that really, he should be playing on the table, seated on a bench. She was wrong twice: the incident happened when he was seated on the bench. Also, I 'm not sure how many toddlers have the balance to sit upright on a bench with no side rails. Not the safest thing. Playing on the floor was the safest way he could play, and if he dropped his bottle from shorter height, it wouldn 't have broken. Before we could say anything, she turned around and walked away. Really catty. Very disappointing. This happened in front of other parents we talked to. Not sure how this is family friendly .

Great beer. Great atmosphere to drink it. Terrible access to baby changing stations.Caveat: They have a single changing station. It’s near the right side bar.The issue is you shouldn’t need to choose the right bathroom. The units are a couple hundred bucks and the wall space is available but for a family friendly place, it doesn’t embrace it fully.You aren’t alone, but the cost is negligible. Let’s make it happen.

Fremont Brewing’s Urban Beer Garden is a must-visit! They offer a fantastic variety of beers, the outdoor seating is lovely, and it’s the perfect spot to hang out with friends. Highly recommended! Gotta come back here with a pack of cards to play!

Wonderful neighborhood brewery. A variety of beers on tap for everyones tastes. Food and ice cream available at the brewery or there are many options for delivery or carry in. Kid and dog friendly. Plus if you love an outdoor patio this is your kind of place!

Excellent beer and a super spot to hangout all afternoon. I like that they offer board games to borrow but pls get Guess who! Also cool that they let you bring in your own food takeout from nearby spots. Very relaxed vibe and the beer prices are quite reasonable. Excellent service as always from Gareth. He’s the man!
