The original owner retired in Fall 2019, sold it and the restaurant closed under its new owners shortly thereafter. I think the restaurant is up for sale again now. Hope it opens again soon!
When I go I love their salad bar and always get a chicken sandwich and never disappointed
Travelers beware!. This would be a great place for a person who has nothing to do for 3 hours. However, if you've spent the day at Mesa Verde (or plan to), you'd best keep moving. People need to plan to eat in a different city, such as Durango. The menu offerings were $10 sandwiches or $25 dinners that probably weren't what you were looking for (unless you like ahi ahi). It took forever to be seated, and eating a meal at this restaurant is like trying to push a bill through Congress. To be honest, we didn't order the $25 meals and the $10 sandwiches would have been a deal at $3. Every moment of the meal was mired in incomprehensible delays and negligence. You may wonder about your reward to be granted after the sacrifice of permanently spent hours and minutes of your finite life; however, there is none.
Since when is it ok to serve a chicken patty with French fries and bland soupy gravy and call it chicken fried chicken? Probably the worst food to come out of the Millwood ever
Waitress saw us waiting by please wait to be seated sign didn 't bother to say anything or seat the two of us for over 10 mins before we finally left. There was only one other couple in entire restaurant.
