The food was amazing and the service was excellent. Definitely the best food on the Northshore and it may have been the best meal I have ever had. The Shrimp and Tasso soup was outstanding, The Crab Croquettas were flavorful and their texture was luxurious. The Filet was the most tender and delicious steak I have ever tasted. Just when I thought that I had no room for anything else I heard the waitress say they had a Bruleed Sugar Ice Cream. It piqued my curiosity and I was rewarded with a spectacular ice cream. Pardos was just as good or better than any of the excellent restaurants I have been to in New Orleans.
Service and food were excellent! I recommend the puppy drum with crabmeat on top of sautéed greens with a beurre blanc sauce.
Tonight I ate at Pardos: An American Bistro. Originally, we planned on eating there but they had a wood fire going which I assumed was for their pizza. So we started to take our leave, explaining that due to my transplant, I couldn 't be around the smoke. To which the manager Marcus said that, they 'own the building next door ' and that they 'd still serve us Pardos ' food there. From there on, our servers, Tyler and Paige, accompanied by Marcus, took the utmost care of us. I have never been treated so well and thoroughly at a brilliant place due to the health risks I have to take into consideration. Pardos has gone above and beyond for me and my accompaniment.
Absolutely amazing dishes with a beautiful ambience from the restaurant and employees. Checked on multiple times and taken care of very well. Highly recommend. Our server Brianna was so sweet!
