Mk Takeaway

I 've been a regular customer of Mk for years, at least 10 years or more. I 'd noticed for months, the decline in the quality of food but today is the last straw! I popped in at around 2:40pm today, bought 2, $11 plates, chips $8 worth of fish bites, the food, looked appealing. Key word being, looked . Husband I were famished so we tucked into our food disappointed doesn 't even begin to describe it. The sweet sour tastes old. The coating is almost mushy, it 's not normally that soft but it also had a weird, off taste to it. I used to love their sweet sour! It was one of my favorites from them! The oil the fish is deep fried in tastes weird too its as though the fish has been, refried, multiple times. When I 'd bite into the fish, chunks of fish would come out of the batter which is super crispy! Their fish was also a favorite of mine. The rest of the food was ok but looks like its Magic Tong from now on. No issues with the service, it 's sad cos they 're a pretty friendly bunch but I just can 't keep going there hoping things will get better cos it 's not. It 's only now I 'm saying something cos I 've had enough. There 's nothing wrong with my money so there shouldn 't be anything wrong with my food. The hot chips were fine, we smashed those. Spent $33 total. Husband ate all of his food although he wasn 't very happy either but he didnt have anythijg specific to say. Most of mine will go to the dog. I 'll see if I can post my pictures as well.

Good tasting chicken wings, nice spices on lamb flaps but was tough, taro was dry and undercooked

Chicken nibbles and boba tea are yum! Good prortions I haven’t tasted much else of the menu. Fries are below average displayed selection is yum

Wouldn’t recommend this place. Good for portion. Size for money’s worth but quality of food not great. Got the special 4. All three fish were MUSH when putting finger into it- literally! So probably not fresh fish at all. The chips were average. Tasteless.
