If you're not in the mood for coffee and a heavy breakfast, a fresh juice or smoothie from this restaurant is a great choice. Some of the staff here are very friendly and enjoy engaging in conversation. It can get quite busy at times due to the high number of passengers in the airport. I'm not a fan of the processed chicken they use in their Thai chicken salad, but I do love the Mexican Thai dressing. The vitality drink was amazing, but unfortunately they no longer offer it. A salad and drink can cost close to $20, which is quite expensive for a single person's meal. #FreshJuiceToGo Ambience: Food: Staff: Price:
Tank c was good it is Shame they no longer do my favourite drink call vitality. Super convenient at airport for delicious plant based juice. Tank c was fresh and delicious
TLDR: Great, healthier option for food in the international terminal. If you're waiting to go to your terminal for an international flight, you'll see a large food court with a variety of options. You can see the full list here aucklandairport.co.nz/ea… , but some of the options aren't exactly the healthiest, such as KFC, Dunkin' Donuts, and McDonald's. If you don't want to feel too guilty about what you ate right before boarding your flight, I would give Tank Juice Bar a try. Specializing in juices, smoothies, and wraps, this is a place that gives you lighter options when compared to other fast food spots. However, keep in mind that some of the smoothies can really pack on the calories if you're not careful, like the smoothies in the creamy treats section. I personally liked the Nutra Blast smoothie, but because it has peanut butter, nuts, honey, and yogurt, it can certainly be a meal in itself. If you want more of a meal, I would recommend the chicken Thai wrap. It's about what you would expect nothing special, but solid nonetheless. The prices are bit higher than some of the other establishments close by, but you do get what you pay for. The wait times to receive your food aren't too long after placing your order, and I personally only waited a couple minutes to receive my order. Overall, a solid spot for food as you wait to go to the terminal.
I was here last month as I was flying out and wanted somethng light and healthy. It was about 9pm on a Thursday, so I was just glad to see that this place was open. There was only one person working and a small queue. Customer service was alright. Juice tasted good as usual. I think this is a great place to have a store, location is excellent.
