Masarap yung meat especially the beef and yung cheese as well hindi nakakaumay. The staffs are friendly and mabilis din yung serving (tho not sure if this is because we went on a weekday). For its price, super sulit na siya; magaganda pati yung pagka-cut ng meat. 5/5 would recommend.
There 's quite a craze in Korean 'everything ' here in the Philippines, and Korean food is definitely part of it. Samgyupsal is basically Korean barbecue. There 's something fun about cooking your own food (meat) when eating out in a restaurant. I think that 's part of the attraction for this kind of dining experience, not to mention the food is unlimited. What probably sets Muhan apart (from the other Samgyupsal restaurants in Manila) is the fact that they offer both samgyupsal and shabu shabu. Their offerings are quite inexpensive, ranging from Php 369 to Php499. They also have two separate restaurants several feet away from each other (which is odd). After availing the pork beef set, I immediately found the beef to be my favorite. They gave us four different beef plates (all very thinly sliced): one unseasoned, one marinated, a bulgogi one and a one blended with a kimchi tasting sauce. I wanted more of these but since they also served us with both thin and thick/heavy slices of pork, I found myself extremely full. Tip: Hold off the thick pork cuts if you want a repeat of those flavorful beef slices. They served us separate bowls of steamed rice and egg. Oh, and there were all those other side dishes as well, including a small plate of meatballs. Among all the side dishes, I was specially enamored with the skinless peanuts soaked in what seemed like brine or very light soy sauce. I definitely would want to go back and dine here again, just so I can eat as much of those beef plates and yummy nuts as I like.
The Food and the service was on par but you need to wait for a while for the meat to be delivered to your table and their reason is that they're still slicing which is supposed to be prepped already since their concept is unli meat. another point to consider when dining here is that the place is so hot, the AC is aligned with the exhaust that lets the cool air out.
We came around 11am and one of the staffs accommodated us with greetings. They told us that during lunch hours there is a discount a discount. We just spent 399 for UNLI 2 or the Pork and Beef choices. All in all, it is something to catch up!
There were cockroaches crawling at our tables, both tables, our original table and the one we were transferred on. As for the food, some lettuces look old and smell rotten, and the cheese doesn't taste like ordinary. Although I like the peanut sauce and have no complaints about the meats. Service was okay, friendly but not attentive at all times.
