Contribuisci feedbackOne of my favorite restaurants that offers authentic Malaysian cuisine. The chicken martabak is absolutely delicious and the teh tarik is the real deal. The staff is friendly, although there may be a wait on busy nights. Definitely a must-visit if you're craving some Malay food. I'll definitely be returning for more!
The food was generally okay, but the nasi lemak, which is supposed to be a signature dish, was not good. The rice barely tasted like coconut and the fried chicken served on the side was very overcooked. The butter chicken was flavorful, but the chicken was also overcooked and tough. The juice was good and not too sweet, which was a plus. However, the portion sizes were smaller than what you would typically find in Australia, so be prepared for Malaysian portion sizes.
I ordered the Nasi Lemak and was impressed with the delicious flavor and fragrant taste. I will definitely be back to try it with some additional toppings. We also tried the Mee Rebus Johor which was equally delicious with generous portions and beautiful presentation. I am giving this place four stars simply because they were out of sago gula Melaka by the time we finished our meal. I will definitely be returning to try more dishes and will update my rating once I have tried the dessert I desire.
We came to this restaurant for the first time based on friend’s recommendation and we totally love the food here. We had the my rasa platter and the creamy butter chicken . Personally I really like the platter, it was a good way to try out a bit of everything of their menu. All the food was delicious and flavorsome. The only let down was the beef satay which the meat was very tough. Service was good and affordable price. Would definitely come back again.
Small neighbourhood restaurant with very friendly service and good food. We had chicken rice, platter, and the apple salad. If you are like me who wants to try a bit of everything then definitely get the platter, tofu was crispy and beef was very tender. Apple salad was very refreshing, the sweet and sour sauce is similar to papaw salad from Thailand.
